After a bout with financial and personal crisis, Alex and Sara are now looking forward for their trip to France. They are sure still worried about the future but knew that they needed this holiday now more than ever. Things get heated up and take unexpected turns after they meet Lucette’s childhood friend. They come into the possession of a gem and are entrusted with it’s safeguarding and saving the world from a huge calamity. The Soul Whisperer lifts you into a different world smoothly as the author used history very interestingly and built his own twist of fiction into it. It starts off mellow but soon catches the pace of Dan Brown’s stories not to mention the detailing which is equally good. The author could have made the story stronger by building his villains up instead of just devoting couple of pages at the end. Overall, it has the potential of turning into a movie with all the elements of sci-fi placed right. ~ Vasanthi Lakshmi , Goodreads
"This thought provoking and spiritual story was a fast paced and interesting read." [Full review at Goodreads.com] ~ R. Atkins , Goodreads
5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie material - As entertaining as any Dan Brown novel, full of great characters, it's eerily relevant and very thought provoking. Crying out to be put on the big screen. ~ Rolf Ruesing, Amazon.co.uk
Rated 5 out of 5 stars Set against the backdrop of France with beautiful images and breathtaking descriptions. The couple Alex and Sara Brunton needs some fresh air after going through a painful miscarriage, and a trip to France could be the best opportunity for them, but things turn out to be quite different from what they’ve hoped for. When the two stumble on an artifact, they are hunted by unnamed enemies, ruthless people who are determined to stop them from getting to something they are just as determined to know as the people trying to stop them. They’ll do with all the help they can, but they are thrust into a world where it’s hard to trust anyone and the closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous life becomes for them. The Soul Whisperer: A Tale of Hidden Truths and Unspoken Possibilities by J. M. Harrison will plunge readers into a world filled with danger, intrigue, stabbings-on-the-back, and a dangerous kind of occultism. The pace is fast and the plot moves rapidly with intricacies that make the overall reading experience a riveting one. I loved the themes and the pervading sense of mystery and danger that moves along with the story. This is another book that readers will find it hard to put down, a well written story for lovers of thrillers, intrigue, and investigative novels. ~ R.Dzemo , Amazon.com
The Soul Whisperer is a spiritual adventure story in the tradition of the Da Vinci Code. This book tells a deeper and more spiritually profound story of the forthcoming shift of the ages, the energy of which is contained in the sacred artefact of the Golden Shell. In a mixture of suspense, mystery, legend and history, J M Harrison takes us on a compelling journey as we follow Alex and Sara on their mission through southern France, led by the mystical character of Jean Michel, as they seek to protect the Golden Shell from the forces of darkness who seek to destroy it along with mankind. From the massacres of the Cathars, via the legends of Mary Magdalene in France to the present day dénouement of the battle between light and dark, this book’s scope sweeps the reader along to its satisfying climax. ~ Mrs DH, Amazon.co.uk
5.0 out of 5 stars - 'All those who belong, simply belong; they belong to AMOR – the Church of Love’ British author and philosopher Jonathan Harrison is best described as a Teacher of Being. In his previous book WE ARE ALL ONE he gently but firmly and supportingly guided his readers towards a path of self-realization. And in his superbly written next book NAKED BEING: UNDRESSING YOUR MIND, TRANSFORMING YOUR BODY he advanced his ability to assist the reader in purging the misconceptions of self, offers an understanding of the non-duality (not separating the individual from the universe but instead realizing that all is one) of each of our existences. And in his third book YOU are THIS: AWAKENING TO THE LIVING PRESENCE OF YOUR SOUL Jonathan opened his personal experiences and before delving into the content of the book he offered a very helpful glossary of terms that appears to be a signature in his writing. Now we come to a novel – an unusual and particularly refreshing step for a writer of self improvement books – and he manages to underline the concepts of his previous books in the form of story, another way to communicate that processes of thinking that occur in his probing mind. Jonathan offers a synopsis that distills his tale well: ‘Following personal tragedies and spiraling financial problems, Londoners Alex and Sara are desperate to find ways to rediscover their zest for life. A free holiday provides the perfect opportunity for a second chance, but not long after arriving in France they discover that all is not what it seems... A series of shocking revelations challenge their understanding of humanity, as they are propelled into a dangerous world governed by a ruthless occult society. Magical relics and extra-terrestrial objects promise to unlock incredible secrets, but what extremes will people go to in order to attain them? In a modern-day spiritual quest, Alex and Sara will be forced to take control of their destiny, facing their own demons along the way as time counts down, for them and the entire human race...’ As fine as his philosophically bent books are, Jonathan proves here that he is able to weave a terrific story that is utterly involving and allows the reader to grow along with the characters in a manner that hints at his previous books. He is a very fine author. By Grady Harp - HALL OF FAME TOP 100 REVIEWER - VINE VOICE - Amazon.com ~ Grady Harp , Amazon.com
5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic work of fiction.. I would give more than five stars if I could. The Soul Whisperer: A Tale of Hidden Truths and Unspoken Possibilities by J.M. Harrison is a fantastic work of fiction that leaves the reader with a haunting feeling most of it isn't fiction at all. A spiritual tale full of adventure and discovery, this book was reminiscent of elements of The DaVinci Code and The Celestine Prophecy. I found it thought provoking and I feel there is something for everyone here but especially for the soul conscious. A must read and a must share! ~ Amazon , Amazon.com
5 out of 5 stars I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Really a 4.5, wish we could do halves. I enjoyed reading my first book by this author. The book was very good overall. One or two chapters took me a bit to get through because of the long, drawn out explanation of how the shell came out and how it ended up in Alex and Sara's life but it was worth getting through. The ending was surprising and I see how the book ends with society in the state it is left. This book will really make you think and wonder if it is the direction we are going. You need to read this book. ~ MnkMom , Amazon.com
5 out of 5 stars This book gripped me. When on one hand I can't put a book down BUT I don't want it to finish either, then I know it's got me. In a similar way The Celestine Prophecy got me in 97. ~ Kathy Mac , Amazon.co.uk
5 out of 5 stars Dan Brown and Indiana Jones as well as urging better care of our world. A fast-paced story which looks to Dan Brown and Indiana Jones as well as urging better care of our world. A stimulating read which I can thoroughly recommend for both thought and entertainment. ~ Christopher Nicholson , Amazon.co.uk
5.0 out of 5 stars Thriller for the mind and soul! As a lover of fiction that also makes me question what is going on in the world around me, this book is a winner. I loved the characters (and yes I too would not have minded more 'baddie' action, as per previous review), and really could place myself in all the various settings portrayed in such wonderful detail, but it is when you investigate a little further into our history, that this book makes a lot of sense. Very on the moment and even could present a window into our future. ~ K. Osborne , Amazon.co.uk
5.0 out of 5 stars A True Winner! I had never read anything by J. M. Harrison and he is now a favorite. I am absolutely and extremely grateful for this opportunity. I could not put this book down. I read it in three days; all 250+ pages. I found this book very interesting and definitely entertaining. It is a great read that had me scratching my sleepy eyes and fighting much needed sleep. It also had me thirsty for more knowledge. The setting is in France. Through this book I visited France with it's distinctive and captivating explanations of the foliage, the crystal caves, the attempted murders and the sort. I found myself switching between reading the book and my browser to research any truths; Christianity, Gnosticism, historical dates, paganism, ancient relics and plenty more. This book reminded me of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code only with a more spiritual aspect. The author definitely had me discussing historical facts with friends and thoroughly engaged. As a matter of fact, I still want to know more. I'm left questioning whether the earth is really in need of total world catastrophe in order for humankind to ascend to the next dimension and remember that we are indeed conscious beings. Still I'm left wondering whether such an event would indeed remind us that we have great spiritual powers and that we can live in harmony with the earth and all it's inhabitants. In spite of this being a fictional novel, it is full of mystery and suspense. I was fully aware that tidbits of historical facts were intertwined with fiction; well not fully. I'd have to say that this is a must read. I can fully envision "The Soul Whisperer" becoming a mega box office hit. ~ Deb George , Amazon.com
5.0 out of 5 stars A Thumping Good Read. Alex and Sara Brunton were hoping a change of scene would help them recover from the blow of a miscarriage. The couple takes off for a trip to France to visit a relative, but instead of tranquil days and starry nights, they are pulled into a web of intrigue that has brought about ruin and death for a millennium. The two quickly become the targets of a group fanatically determined to stop them from revealing what they've found about a mysterious artifact. With the help of a local sage, they draw closer and closer to the truth...and to danger. Hairsbreadth escapes, double crosses and strong action sequences feature prominently in The Soul Whisperer, as does a undercurrent of spirituality. This is an exciting, rousing read. ~ Burt J. Kempner , Amazon.com
5 out of 5 stars. An imaginative story with powerful esoteric overtones. An interesting take on history, religion, conspiracy and the future of humanity, all wrapped up in a thrilling fictional adventure tale. The Soul Whisperer was a book which set my imagination alight - and I couldn't put it down. ~ Tom Wark , Waterstones.com
5 out of 5 stars The Soul Whisperer - An Epic Journey That Awakens You to Hidden Truths And Unspoken Possibilities! The title of J.M Harrison's epic tale resonates as you follow the protagonists journey through the tale - you find yourself hearing a small voice inside reflecting on situations in your own life, on deja vu moments, on the synchronicity of moments in time, on your own soul whispering messages to rise you from complacency! From the moment I picked up The Soul Whisperer, I couldn't put it down again - it is one of those books....., one of those books that draws you in and you find yourself hours later still engrossed with the light fading and wondering why you feel hungry! There were moments where I found tears running down my face, where I had the chills and goose bumps and where I was transported to France and could feel the heat and I could smell the herbs of the mountain side..... Superbly written for a wide demographic, from the lover of the Celestine Prophecy to the more academic reader, the combination of fact, fiction and history really do leave you listening out for The Soul Whisperer in you and pondering those unspoken possibilities! It is one of those works that you know you have to read again , to mark passages that resonate with you and to pass the word along to friends and acquaintances that this is a must have book for their library! ~ Gail Tsoukala-Steggell, Amazon.co,uk

I personally think this book has the potential of being a huge hit. This book contains hidden truths that will really surprise you, suggesting there are secret societies guilty of manipulating humanity for profit, promoting religious differences, war and chaos. Mr. Harrison will have you thinking about the characters long after you've turned the final page. A smart and poignant novel. ~ Juan Tovar, Goodreads
Rated 5 out of 5 stars "From the beginning, like all good novels, the reader is drawn into the story with that desire to read on. The characters are well-drawn and plausible representatives of this chaotic and challenged 21st century. The struggling young couple, Sarah and Alex, deeply in love, ready to look beyond the material world and compelled by circumstances to embark on a journey of discovery; Jean-Michel, a complex, Christ-like character whose life experience has lead him to a place of awareness and reflection with the ability to heal others; and the bad guys....yes plenty of these and the accompanying violence too! The scene is vividly set in an old French township set amongst the lush landscape much loved by the author. From this the story unfolds beginning with a graphic description of the violence inflicted upon the community at the centre of the novel. We are taken back in time to the very roots of civilisation, an enthralling roller-coaster ride through history challenging orthodoxy, dogma and sacred beliefs long accepted as Truth. The murder of the innocent, the rise and fall of evil ever-present it seems today as yesterday......Sometimes the story embraces wild fantasy, unbelievable, leaving the reader to wonder just how did he get here. We are taken on a journey of colourful fantasy and stark reality as we move towards the closing chapters. My heart bled for the unfortunate lone figure of the bearded vulture, poisoned by man-made chemicals, flying into the path of the jet plane so destroying itself and the forces of evil: brilliant descriptive writing! The last chapters are full of light, hope and enlightenment, a deeply moving description of the long-promised land, the place of our dreams so often promised yet never delivered, illusive it seems as we experience the tragedy of human existence today. An excellent novel bringing a profound message to those who are ready to receive it........" ~ Michael Vincent , Amazon.co,uk
Rated 5 of 5 stars The publisher’s blurb is an excellent introduction and whets your appetite to read this novel. It is certainly an amazing story about a modern day spiritual quest that draws you in and keeps you there. The main characters, Alex, Sara, Jean-Michel and Lucette, are intriguing and as the mystery unfolds they develop with it. There are many very vivid descriptions that bring great atmosphere to the story and the increasing tensions are portrayed with scary realism which keeps the reader captivated. The historical perspective of events in history is cleverly presented and integrated into what is happening in the story, linking the past with the present and future. While the bad guys are real bad guys, we are all portrayed as contributing to the current state of the world and having a part in where our future is heading! This novel certainly left me with a lot of food for thought and reflection on where we are and what we are doing in our own lives and where we live. ~ Sharon Jarvis , Goodreads

Gayle Ferguson rated it 5 of 5 stars ##### Such a good read, full of action, love and history. The author adds incredible detail to this story, making it so easy to visualize as you read along. The characters are well developed with clearly defined roles. This would easily translate to a movie. There were passages that were profound and touching. Good vs Evil, the French countryside, two people in love who find themselves in a life changing situation. You will enjoy this one, I promise. Shawn M. rated it 5 of 5 stars ##### If more people read this book and learn from the message, and then acted on it, we would live in a brighter world. It was gripping. The plot takes place in the Herault in France, past present and future. I have a feeling that much of the story is not so much fiction as actually real. A new world order, cyber terrorism, corrupt politicians and greedy business. Alex and Sara have escalating paranormal experiences, and it’s a bit like a condensed version of spiritual awakening. I highly recommend this. Alysia rated it 5 of 5 stars ##### This is a book that they could make into a movie. I enjoyed it very much. I think the characters were great and for me it had a little bit of everything in it. This book was magical for me and took me on a magic carpet ride, so to speak. I loved it. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* Imran Rahman rated it 5 of 5 stars ##### It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s turned into a film, because it has all the bits in the right places to go to TV. Enjoyed the story, characters and the seamless blend of fact & fiction, which was refreshing. And no vampires! Yippee! De Vlinder is the scary South African villain we love to hate.Jean-Michel is the mysterious wise old French sage who helps Alex and Sara on their quest, and who we’d all like to be friends with. Not to mention Atlantis, Napoleon and Hitler…! Kitty Allen rated it 5 of 5 stars ##### This book quickly got very good. I love the idea and the way the author brought in the secret occult and magical relics. The dynamic between Alex and Sara adds a lot to the story as well. Very strong characters that are relatable. If you like mystery, with thrills and a bit of supernatural this is a fantastic book. Highly recommended. ~ Various , Goodreads
Sometimes opportunities are afforded to us thinking that they will better our lives when in truth it might change it and gear us in directions or paths that we would ordinarily never travel down. Alex and Sara are a happily married young couple dealing with financial stress and hoping for a way to finally live debt free. A chance getaway in Europe sets the stage for something out of our realm and a hunt for a mystical relic that will change Sara and Alex.... The chapter titled Beyond Here and Now ... for readers and the end result for those that oppose what the shell stands for was brilliantly solved and depicted in a graphic description that will make you shudder and shake. What lessons can we learn from the stone and what it stands for? That dear reader you will have to learn for yourself when you learn the meaning of The Soul Whisperer and hear the voice that will guide you. From two there is one: To understand that you need to join Sara and Alex on their quest. https://tillie49.wordpress.com ~ Fran Lewis, Just Reviews/MJ Magazine

"Having recently read Jonathan Harrison's book “YOU are THIS”, I was looking forward to reading “The Soul Whisperer” as well. I was drawn to this work after reading about it on Amazon.com, particularly since one of the editorial reviews compared it to The Da Vinci Code and The Celestine Prophecy, both of which I really enjoyed. While the author is not yet an established fiction writer, I have to say that I was really impressed with the quality of the story writing. In certain parts I found myself racing through pages to find out what would happen next. I also appreciated the spiritual insights that were sprinkled throughout the work, as well as the references to the underbelly of the so-called New World Order. Overall, I found this to be an excellent read, and as such, I most certainly recommend it." - Jeff Maziarek, author of 'Codi's Journey' LINK: https://www.facebook.com/jmaziarek/posts/10206854394373152?notif_t=like_tagged ~ Jeff Mazariek , Amazon / Facebook Review

The Soul Whisperer has the potential to be a huge bestseller. In the same spiritual-adventure mold as The Da Vinci Code and The Celestine Prophecy, J. M. Harrison's novel is a rich and riveting read full of 'hidden truths and unspoken possibilities'. ~ Stephen Gawtry, Managing Editor, Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazine

Is it possible that a secret cartel of top ranking individuals are guilty of catastrophic greed and extreme profiteering, manipulating humanity for profit, promoting religious differences, war and chaos right now as has been their mission for millennia? Perhaps there is more to this book than just a great read… ~ Wayne Herschel, archaeostronomer and author of ‘The Hidden Records’
The more of us who read this gripping, un-put-downable novel the better. Why? - Because although, at one level, it is pure fiction at another level it is telling us about what is going behind the scenes in the world, where ' Brutal Oligarchy' is presented to us in the media as 'Good Democracy'. The Soul Whisperer contains powerful shades of Orwell's '1984' and Huxley's 'Brave New World', some of whose prophecies are coming to pass right now... ~ Michael Gabriel, CEO ContextforChange.com and author
