The descriptions and dialogue take you right into the story you almost feel in the scene, it has a great sense of time and place. Great imagination, knowledge of politics and global affairs provide a compelling mix. Gritty people, twists and turns, complex plot keeps the pace up and the pages turning. Once started it is difficult to put this one down, it is well written, edgy and thoroughly entertaining. Being a PHD scientist with over 40 years of work at high levels with both private business and government entities made Blood Profit$ a very compelling and interesting account of how ‘business as normal’ is anything but normal. I very familiar with the work of Mr. Patrick and Mr. Tomaszek and their abilities to be visionaries and prophets of the social, political and economic challenges just ahead. When I reviewed Blood Profit$, and the unmasking of special agendas on Capitol Hill, shady business deals and outright collaboration with the mob -- it seemed all too real. Although Blood Profit$ is a fictional account of how greed and corruption at all levels of the US extended enterprise by using mass deception, leads to the possible collapse of the American way of life; even killing innocent Americans being sent off to fight phony wars all for greed driven wealth. The portrayal of a ‘captured’ Lithium market in the hands of a few working in conjunction with organized crime and even underwritten by our own tax dollars, puts chills down backs of thinking persons who follow the age old ‘golden rule.’ Do we really live in a decaying society that is out of control and at the hands of organized corruption? That is something only you the reader can decide, but the story told on the pages of Blood Profit$ could also be very real. Blood Profit$ provides the reader with the age old story of good vs. evil.
