The writing is warm, confident and readily digestible which made it a pleasure to read. Thanks to this work I have a better understanding of numerology and greater curiosity to learn more. This is a fascinating comprehensive review of the interpretation of Numerology. After I received signs of the same numbers working in my life I gravitated to learning about Numerology. This is the perfect segway into Numerology for both beginners and those with more knowledge. Everyone seeking Numerology for their own practice will benefit from this body of work. Sentier has written a beautiful book on how to work with numbers and using your intuition at the same time. She operates on a foundation of feeling what the number mean in addition to the historical definitions. She asks the interpreter to look down the block and then around the corner when interpreting the information the numbers present. The figures present the spirit self and personal self. The publishers back cover description claims this book to be "the most reader-friendly numerology book we've come across". And as someone who has worked with numbers for most of her professional business career, and someone who is fascinated by the intricacies and patterns held within them I was intrigued by such a claim. The reality is that I think they are right! Author Elen Sentier takes a gently and friendly approach to what can perhaps be seen as a daunting and occult subject and makes it accessible, useable and very practical - a fine achievement. The book takes us on a tour of concepts such as time, duality, mathematical spirals and spiritual spirals before offering us insights to the patterns of numbers that are working alongside us and within us - whether we realise it or not. There are chapters on how to calculate our own personal numbers using our name or birthdate (and other dates as well!) and how they may show us why we are here at all - as well as practical examples of using birth and name number analysis. I thought Numerology: Dancing the Spirals of Time offered an opportunity to work with numbers in a very organic and universal way, but I would not consider this as an introductory book at all. That being said, I don’t believe that was the intention of Ms. Sentier in the least. Despite this, I do believe that this is a wonderful resource and exercise in being able to draw deeper conclusions beyond the superficial information we are usually privy to. Moving through the pages and information of this book requires that you look and feel with all of your being and not simply accept at face value what is being written. This is the most reader-friendly numerology book we've come across! Numerologists use numbers to discover how people work, what makes them tick, because numbers are a code for life. The numbers of one's birth provide the clues to the pattern of that incarnation. Knowing the pattern enables us to bring more of it to light, to consciousness, and so helps us grow.
