Pauline Breen
'Pauline is a 44 year old woman who loves all things Brigid. Having grown up with Brigid energy in Ireland in the saint form it wasn't until she connected to this energy in the pagan form of Goddess that she established a life-changing journey into reclaiming the divine feminine written out of Christianity. Subsequently, Pauline has committed to promoting understanding of this sacred goddess energy and how it can appeal to a modern audience of both men and women. In her book 'This is Brigid' Pauline considers Brigid in her pagan form as mother goddess and then as christian saint. She intertwines the two and suggests many ways to connect to this powerful female deity through her symbols, numbers, animals and practices on her feast day of February the 1st. In her second book 'This is Maman Brigitte - Dark Goddess of Africa and Ireland Pauline shows yet another face of Brigid, a vodou deity that came forth into being during the hardship of slavery. Pauline reveres the goddess and calls her Goddess Brigid.
