A lovely book. My son aged five loves to hear which little star he is at bedtime and I believe it helps him to settle.. 5 out of 5 stars ~ A lovely book. My son aged five loves to hear which little star he is at bedtime and I believe it helps him to settle., Amazon reviews
I really love this little book. The author repeats a similar meditation on each page, with a new key word or concept on each one. It builds structure in the child's meditation and my children love that thy can predict what will come next. It has also helped build their vocabulary, as each day features a new word/concept that we talk about before beginning. Had been a great addition to our bedtime ritual. 5 out of 5 stars ~ L. Excellent book for my very active preschoolers. They love the breathing exercises. It's become part of our bedtime routine. 5.0 out of 5 stars ~ Jessica, Amazon reviews
I love this book. Marneta's passion and enthusiasm for the wellbeing of children shines through in every page. Young children will love the simple and repetitive nature of the words and parents can use the text to help foster conversation about sensitive emotional issues that may otherwise be hard for the child to talk about. ~ Sarah Ockwell Smith, Parenting Author.
I believe your relaxation techniques should be taught to all children (and its never too soon ) . In the stressful world in which we live my legacy to my 4year olds is the learned ability to switch off for a few minutes every day...a time to be thankful for their uniqueness and to celebrate the knowledge that we are ALL special . ~ Lynne Baxter
