The novel is centred around Isak while keeping the reader at a distance from it, which puts the reader into the AI’s shoes of an impersonal judge on humanity as Isak AI presents it, asking the reader to choose which side they prefer. It does not linger on the questions of humanity’s right to exist or the intricacies of AI technology and merely asks the reader to judge what they are being shown, and the merit of Isak AI lies in posing this question. Isak AI will work for the reader who wants to see a nuanced and morally ambiguous spin on the plot of world domination by artificial intelligence and is curious about what it might really take to save the world. A deftly scripted novel that will have a special interest for readers who appreciate dystopian stories, "Isak AI" offers them a unique blend of satire and speculation with the themes of climate science, artificial intelligence, politics, and religious myth. A believable story of what could be our future as extrapolated from our present, "Isak AI" is highly recommended for community library Science Fiction collections. ~ Midwest Book Reviews, Review

Owens) has lovingly brought forth something that, once read, should make you shiver, smile, question, relate and yet at all times just feel.
