Philip Duke
Philip Duke is a native of Liverpool and a graduate of Cambridge University and the University of Calgary. He spent his professional career as a professor of anthropology in Colorado. His professional work concentrated on the archaeology of North America, in particular the western States, but he has also published on Greek archaeology. His secondary professional focus was on the archaeology of class struggle and to that end was one of the lead investigators of the "Colorado Coalfield Wars Archaeological Project". He has now turned to historical fiction. His first novel "A Terrible Unrest" was published in 2014.
