As a modern version of one of the greatest classics of esoteric literature, this book is rich in symbolism with a narrative and visual manifestation that will mesmerise the reader. Simultaneously simple and complex, this work will help open wide the door of knowledge.
Each chapter is accompanied by an image whose graphic, enigmatic and archetypal form artistically represents the infinite wisdom that the work possesses. These optical illusions give the reader a better visualization of the universe and how immensely infinite it is, in addition to how imperceptible it may be in the eyes of the human being...

This book may well be known to many readers from previous editions, since it was first published in 1908 as a study of the Hermetic philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece. It is a seminal work based on seven fundamental principles: mentalism, correspondence, vibration, polarity, rhythm, cause and effect, and gender. This particular edition features a number of symbolic images to complement the text. The All is within all reciprocally, and is characterised as a universal, infinite, living mind, as was also the case in the New Thought movement. The key principles are very clearly elucidated, and the importance of alchemical mental transmutation is highlighted – this involves using the higher forces against lower, rather than the other way round. The ‘planes of correspondence’ are explained on the principle of ‘as above, so below’ in terms of different levels of mind, vibrations and substance. Causation lies within a larger system of laws and reflects the dynamics of masculine and feminine principles. Interestingly, the ‘I’ is said to represent being and the ‘Me’ the aspect of becoming. It would be an intriguing experiment to have this text on student reading lists to compare with other approaches, and in our own time the mental power of imagination to envisage and help co-create a thriving future could not be more important. ~ David Lorimer, Paradigm Explorer Scientific and Medical Network
I expected this book to be a challenging read due to its subject, and I was proved right. I did enjoy reading it, however, and while I had to concentrate a little more than I might with other books, it wasn’t as intellectually challenging as I feared. I would recommend this book if you are interested in subjects relating to vibrational living, being mindful, and what it truly means to live as a spiritual being. It doesn’t profess to change your life or make it better, but it should leave you feeling more aware of what is really going on around you and what the bigger picture is. ~ Spooky Mrs Green, Review
This work seems to be the fundament upon which many modern New Age teachings are based; however, it is still valid and straightforward to follow. It was initially published in 1908 by “Three Initiates”, and it claims to convey the teachings and philosophy of Hermes Trismegistus. Anyone who came through the 1960s will be aware of most of this, but seeing it in one of its original forms is refreshing. Well worth a read for anyone with a troubled mind. ~ Phenomena Magazine, Review
As a whole, The Kybalion presents seven basic principles, universal laws, if you will, which will seem familiar. When mankind lost its connection to the universal consciousness, the teachings were withdrawn from this plane. These laws affect all planes of existence, from the lowest to the highest. No sentient being is exempt from these laws. These principles include the mental, correspondence, rhythm, polarity, cause and effect, vibration, and gender. And, aside from the more widespread interest a book such as this should generate, this book would more appeal to those seekers of truth, and should be made available to anyone who wishes to explore the depths of the the universal knowledge. In short, Three Initiates: The Kybalion can change your life when you realize how interrelated everything and everyone is and how perfectly designed the universe is: to connect us in Light, Love and understanding; to raise our consciousness, evolve our spiritual nature; to humble us and instill gratitude for all the gifts of life.
