When people first open a tarot book, many of them will idly skim through, checking out the pictures and looking for key words and phrases. Then when they finally do go back through and read the book, they start with the first chapter after the introduction. Because honestly, who wants to read the introduction anyway, right? The Transformational Truth of Tarot has an introduction that is really worth reading. Tiffany Crosara talks about her journey, but not just the wonderful, magical parts of it. There’s the part where she tricks herself into believing the tarot is telling her exactly what she wants to hear, and her dismay—and later hope—in realizing the truth. I was especially moved by her description of how the cards predicted a miscarriage for her, and after it happened, how she put them away only to eventually allow the tarot’s wisdom to help herself and others through healing, empowerment, and positivity. I saw myself in many parts of it. It was personal and powerful... Overall, this is a decent introduction to the tarot, and if you’re looking for a book written by a tarotist who really lives their craft, I’d suggest The Transformational Truth of Tarot by Tiffany Crosara. http://facingnorth.net/Tarot-Cards-and-Books/transformational-truth-tarot.html ~ FacingNorth, http://facingnorth.net/
Tiffany Crosara is one of the best Tarot teachers and experts I have come across in years. She has the incredibly unique ability to impart her boundless knowledge of, and passion for, the cards to anyone who wishes to learn – from the complete novice right through to those who are already well-practiced and perhaps looking to gain clarity or brush up on their skills. We all know how easy it can be to get bogged down in this ancient practice, but Tiffany deftly unlocks the mysteries sleeping behind the Tarot’s veil with a freshness and vigour that brings the esoteric art of reading right up to date. By giving each card its own fully accessible identity and personality, Tiffany will help you release your blocks and make friends with the Tarot for life. ~ Alexandra Wenman., Editor of Prediction Magazine
"I had the pleasure in participating in one of Tiffany Crosara's Tarot courses to write up for Prediction magazine, her knowledge of and intuitive connection to the Tarot astounded me and completely dispelled any misunderstanding I had. So I was delighted when she asked me to read her draft manuscript. If there is anyone qualified to write on this subject, it's Tiffany. Having spent most of her life working with this mystical system, Tiffany has a profound understanding of the cards, which she articulates expressively in a way that is very easy to grasp. I look forward to buying my copy!"
~ Gemma Birss, Deputy Editor of Prediction Magazine and Winner of The Frances Lincoln Diverse Voices Children's Book Award 2009Tiffany explains her personal development journey with regards to the her Tarot abilities in great detail that many people could relate to and benefit from. As a natural intuitive, it is obvious that she feels the subtle energy of each Tarot card rather than just depending on the traditional meaning, therefore her translations are very significant to those who want to learn a new perspective of the Tarot. As a Tarot reader of 7 years myself, I would certainly say that her story and descriptions have already inspired me to delve deeper into the hidden mysterious messages of this ancient tool. ~ Sabi Hilmi, Author of The Secrets of Angel Healing- (published by Penguin in Feb 2011)
It makes total sense that Tiffany has written down her views and knowledge on the Tarot in a book. It will not only help all her students, but also those interested in discovering the mysterious world of the Tarot as a tool of reflection on life. I am happy to see that Tiffany's intimate wisdom and lively spirit shines through in her writing, and it has created a book that is as well innovative as unique. ~ Jan Hendrik Verstraten, Multi award-winning screenwriter and playwright. (Angel Film Awards)
A genuinely original look at the Tarot. I also like the combination of lyricism and common sense in what she writes. Although I've often tried studying the Tarot, I've always found the very prescriptive meanings given in most handbooks to be hard to remember and quite dampening. Tiffany's view of the Tarot as a mirror in which we see our own fears, hopes and potentials rather than an immutable scary oracle is something I find very congenial. In fact one of the reasons why I am endorsing this proposal is that "The Transformational Truth Of Tarot" is a book I'd really like to read myself. ~ Patrica Finney, Writer and Author of Multiple Novels and winner of The David Higham Award for Best First Novel of the year
All I can say about Tiffany is that along my journey so far she is one of the most transparent and genuine beings I have come across. Her hard work, determination, integrity and authenticity are an inspiration.Having read the treatment for the book she is currently writing I wanted to say books like these written by people like Tiffany are needed amongst all of the illusion and falseness surrounding this genre of reality. Tiffany is one person who does not make things up as she goes along; she embodies herself in her journey and shares her story with sincerity, telling it as it is. This courage and bravery to be transparent is what makes Tiffany’s wealth of knowledge and experience accessible to everyone. What I loved more about Tiffany’s book is that it’s not just about the Tarot, but it carries with it Tiffany’s story and that is itself worth reading and I am sure will be a best seller. ~ Simon Paul Sutton , Actor (lead role- Ao, The Last Neanderthal) / Producer / Writer / Light Worker
