I found myself reading on, utterly absorbed in the contents. This is a wide-ranging book, which after a useful (and readily understandable) précis of systems of measurement used in antiquity, went on to explain the 'salt lines' discovered by Xavier Guichard in the 1930s. This was the best and clearest explanation I have read of this ancient latitude/longitude grid system which links so many megalithic sites. From the Rosicrucians to the Golden Thread, from the Astrology of Washington to the architecture of Rosslyn Chapel, from the Magdalene to Parzival, and a whole lot more - it's all in here, clearly and economically written and logically set out.
