When Elissa Hope was 14, she had an extraordinary near-death experience. She died during a routine procedure gone fatally wrong, and during the time that CPR was being performed on her, Elissa's soul left her body and traveled to heaven where she came face to face with God, who sent her back to her life as his messenger and light worker to spread his light and love throughout the world. Now, 40 years later, she is ready to share it with the world. In the intervening years, Elissa has been a model, then a makeup artist and an aerobics instructor, having studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and worked as a flight attendant — a career path that ended after she realized that when the plane hit turbulence, the passengers usually ended up reassuring her! Today, Elissa lives on the Gold Coast of Long Island, not very far from the town of Oceanside where she grew up. In addition to being a mother to her teenage daughter, she is the biggest animal lover and is very active in animal rescue and committed to her work as a spiritual motivational speaker, writer, and healer.
