originSeptember was incredibly busy for the CI fiction authors, so here's a quick roundup of what's been happening, or is poised to happen...

Colleen Douglas will be giving a talk at Paddington Library, part of the Westminster Libraries group in London on Wednesday 8th October 2014 at 6.30-7.30pm. The talk will cover her books, writing style, and the such.

Gary Michael Vasey was interviewed on Sloth on Saturday on Sept. 15th listen here - http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/52914856

Hannah Spencer's short story, I Wish, has won first prize in the Writing Magazine paranormal story comp. it came out in the magazine today! It's the first comp she has won so we're all really pleased!

Marie Yates has an official endorsement from British Taekwondo… they are being really supportive with this book and with ensuring she has the factual info for the next two books in the trilogy.

'Reggie & Me is an extremely inspiring ‘must read’ for any young person. The book offers a contemplation of the trials of teenage life, as the positive story carries its reader through the struggle of mastering them. We see the main character, Dani, turn to Taekwondo as a means of personal development. Her courageous choices and resilience in grappling with some difficult challenges is a brilliant reflection of the many strengths that Taekwondo aims to teach. We hope that Dani will inspire many other young people to take up our sport and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.'

Alongside their support, they have invited Marie as a VIP to the Grand Prix in October!

Murray Morison was interviewed for Internet Radio. Most of it focused around the ideas that underpin Time Sphere and his (and their) personal experiences

Paula Coston  made a guest guest appearance at the international Tolkien Conference ('Oxonmoot') in Oxford this last weekend! Read more about it here on the blog.

NE David  been selected to appear at two Literary Festivals this autumn. On 24th September he'll be at Wakefield to do his seminar 'A Defence Against The Dark Arts - Writers Block And How To Beat It' and in October (15th) is at Wolds Words in Louth to present 'Does Travel Broaden The Literary Mind?'
