About the Author

Scott Irvine has followed the path of the goddess since exploring the many goddess temples on the small islands of Malta and Gozo off the Sicilian coast in the spring of 2010. This was an easy to read, informative, well-written book. I not only enjoyed reading it, but I learned quite a bit by the end. Irvine did an excellent job of laying out the history of snakes, both biologically and in myths. A few of the myths covered I was vaguely familiar with, but I enjoyed reading Irvine's recounting of them. I now have a new-found respect for snakes, especially on a spiritual level. I'll definitely be exploring serpents more for my spiritual practices after reading this.

When I read the tile of this book the Ouroboros came to mind. But there's more and this informtive book made me learn a lot more
