Dominic C. James is a writer and Reiki Master. He has been a singer/songwriter in various indie bands and has scratched a living as a freelance writer, barman, draughtsman, and factory worker. On being made redundant in 2008 he committed himself to full-time writing. The Reiki Man Trilogy combines his passion for all things spiritual with his passion for all things temporal. He keeps a foot firmly placed in both worlds. He wants to bring practices such as Reiki to a wider audience by conveying Eastern ideals in a highly accessible and entertaining context.

Sacred Storm is a fantastic ending to The Reiki Man Trilogy. Like the others in the series, this finale was a page-turner to the very end. Resolving the intrigue of book one was complicated, to say the least. However, in this episode, James keeps the plot running, the heart thudding, and the mind spinning in one cataclysmic cyclone of suspicion and treachery. The resolution of a few sub-plots was a bit disappointing though; (spoiler alert!) the giant Russian, Kandinsky, does not come across as the suicidal type; and murderer for hire, Kamal, and his new spiritual protégé Annie, (aka one time killer, Tracey Tressel) deserve more than two short chapters and a one line mention in the epilogue; they are major supporting characters in book two! Still, the fascination surrounding the messianic Stratton and his disciples Jennings, Stella, and Grady (and the increasingly, severe depravity of the Vatican) adequately compensates for any perceived short-comings in character development. A great read for anyone looking to lose a couple hours in mysticism, madness, mayhem, and munificence!

I really enjoyed A Sacred Storm Part III of The Reiki Man Trilogy. I had saved the last two books in the trilogy to read whilst I was on holiday, and I found them both exciting and illuminating. They kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I loved the short chapters too, as I was on holiday I was able to pick the book up read as much as I wanted and put it down again without feeling that I had to leave it in the middle of a story line. The book also had a good ending. So many books like this keep you hooked throughout the story then have a weak ending, not so with 'A Sacred Storm'. Sacred Storm, A: 3: Part III of The Reiki Man Trilogy  It was believable right through to the end. I do hope Dominic puts pen to paper again soon!

A brilliant conclusion to the Reiki Man Trilogy. It brings together all the characters that I have grown to care about from the first two books and adds in new people and locations. I don't want to spoil what happens in any of the books but it was a very satisfying conclusion and resolution for all the characters.

I was fortunate enough for this book to come out whilst I was reading " Fear of the Fathers: The Reiki Man Trilogy (Reiki Man Trilogy 2) " and so it was a seamless reading experience for me. I would recommend doing just that as A Sacred Storm continues straight on from book 2 and you won't lose any momentum.

I want more.

This book (all three of them in fact) kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end. Truly a modern day adventure / thriller with a very real difference. The theme of protecting the box and it's secret symbols really put me in mind of 'Lord of the Rings'. Fantastic!

I have recommended this to many Reiki friends and to friends who don't go down the Reiki route - I know that they will all love it.

This is the third book of the series - I seriously don't want it to end ! I get absolutely nothing done in the rest of my life when I am reading these books - they are very addictive ! Even though they are fictitious - they do have an element of truth to them - are reasonably informative about the practice of Reiki also.
