'This generation's 'Chariots of the Gods'', George Noory, Coast to Coast AM

The familiar stories of the book of Genesis affirm that God made the universe, planet earth, and you and me. However, various anomalies in the text clue us that we are not reading the original version of these stories. So what were the original narratives and what did they say about who we are and where we all came from? What was the earlier story of human origins, almost obliterated from the Hebrew Scriptures in the 6th century BC, and suppressed from Christian writing in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD? And what does any of this have to do with Extra Terrestrials? Escaping from Eden will take you on a journey around the world and into the mythologies of ancient Sumeria, Mesoamerica, India, Africa, and Greece to reveal a profound secret, hidden in plain sight in the text of the Bible. Far reaching and deeply controversial, this book points to truths about ourselves, the universe and everything that you may have long suspected but not dared to speak!

It's absolutely wonderful!"Rhian Johns "Gripping, challenging and thought provoking in equal measure! I read the book in two sittings, it is truly a gripping read. From the first paragraph it was clear that this was a book that would present questions that I'd not thought to ask before about the Genesis story - and I thought I'd asked quite a lot! And, by the end of the book I was not only desperate for more, but shocked at how little we, collectively know about ourselves, but more importantly how little we question assumed knowledge, assumed wisdom and assumed theology. Paul is an impressive writer and he's left me with a ton of questions, what more can you ask for in a book?Mary Lynn " Wallis is the NEW Daniken of this generation with new insight and knowledge that will have you convinced this is fact. Tony Barrett (The 5th Kind TV, Ancient Revelations) - "A Masterpiece! Thank you, Paul Wallis, for taking the time to investigate, research and explore this subject surrounded by controversy." A++++ Paul Wallis has encapsulated so much information into one book, 'Escaping from Eden.' Elaborations and baffling mysteries within humanity's history - Who created us? What is GOD? Why are we here? Excellent read and very informative. Great writing and the explanations are so well put that it's to doubt what is presented here."

When an ultimate frisbee injury laid me up and set me on the path of probing the ancient sources of the book of Genesis I did not expect it to lead me onto ET territory. I was later to learn what the connection is between my earlier titles on mystical and shamanic traditions and the implications of "ESCAPING FROM EDEN."

Paul could have made this book ultra scientific and in language that only his colleagues could decipher. Yet he wrote in simple, easily understood language and I found it both informative as well as mysterious, much like a novel..except the content is about where you and I came from, and where we are destined.Excellent read.!!

First, I would like to begin by explaining what attracted me to Paul’s work. Recently in my life, due to my physical health deteriorating since suffering a traumatic brain injury, I found myself thanking “God” for being able to continue to live on at any capacity. So, in thanks, I began my very first read-through of the Bible. Not too long after I started reading, I noticed there seem to be many references to material that the Bible writers assume you would already know while reading. For example, in Numbers 13, God commands Moses to send men to spy out the land of Canaan. Now, if God’s omniscient, why would he/she need to have Moses take such action? Also, in number 13:33, we have this verse: “We also saw the Nephilim there (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” I find myself asking the question, who is Anak, and why does the Bible assume I should already know this? The more of the Bible I read, the more I began to wonder. Who or what is God? Why would he be jealous and need the use of men to spy and cause war? What happened to the benevolent God I learned about in Catholic school? These questions and more are what eventually lead to me getting my hands on Escaping from Eden. This book explores the very same questions I asked myself when reading through the Bible. Each time I read through Escaping from Eden, I find myself asking more questions. Truthfully, this is one of the most thought-provoking books I have ever read. Every time I start reading this, I cannot put it down. I highly recommend this book for anyone, like myself, who questions the concept of the God described in the Old Testament. After reading Escaping from Eden, I found myself researching more about our ancient past and beliefs than I ever have before. In conclusion, I would like to thank the Author for all the time and research he put into his work. The quality of content in this book is superb and is very easy to follow along. Once you pick this up, I guarantee you will not want to put it down until you’re finished. I know I can’t. Simply superb.

I think Paul Anthony Wallis has a great point.
From his back ground, and biblical knowledge, the parallels he drawn in this book and the series as a whole makes a lot of sense. Other than occasional religious sermon like paragraphs, this book is a good read.
As reader of a most prominent Sumeriologist Madame Muazzez Ilmiye Cıg, who translated the Ottoman archives of Sumerian tablets; I remember my own asthonishment going through the cuneiform translations of hers. As she well said " the history of human civilisation begins with Sumerians". All of a sudden, out of nowhere. The paragraph about Karacadağ and agricultural leap from wild to domesticated produce is most interesting. Genetically engineered crops. Amazing.

This book illuminated quite a bit of questions I have had my whole life growing up in religious schools. There are no definitive answers here, but what the author cites is enough conversation to keep you awake for the next month. The author also did an exceptional job of sharing his personal feelings on the subject and I also felt like we were on the same journey together.

Very much enjoyed Paul's perspective on the origins of our humanity. Recommend this book for people of any religion willing to consider that we have more in common than we have ever been told by our cultures. IF UFOs are the Old Gods returning we must understand our history to be able to resist.

Very eye opening. It answered many questions in my mind and I can't wait to read the rest of the books.

Wonderfully written, very smooth in reading, the book flows like water; one thought follows the next and everypart is very intresting and researched. I cross- reference and check fact or claims by also trying to get another perspective and this book holds up what it promises. If you are ready to seek answers for your questions about the topic then you should definetly include this in your research.
