Pagan Portals - The First Sisters: Lilith and Eve Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 106 ratings

It was said in the beginning, in a garden called Eden, that woman was created at the same time as man, and not from his rib. Lilith, the first female, created equal to stand as a partner. But she proved to be a person so troublesome that she vanishes from her rightful place in civilization’s mythological legends in place of Eve, the first wife. With her younger sister Eve’s story heralding the future of all womankind, Lilith and her story stands alone as a testament to the Sacred Feminine and man’s fear of the mysteries that lie within her. The First Sisters: Lilith and Eve is a gateway to a provocative awakening.

Founded information, very little opinion. Makes you rethink what you were taught.

A unique perspective on Lilith and Eve as sisters. How can we embody and heal the energies of both in the broken modern world? Several meditative practices are offered as rituals to work with in creative processes that can offer healing for us all. A great addition for anyone working to heal by tapping into the divine feminine.

I received this book the day it was released and by midnight I had completely devoured it! It is fresh, inspiring and thought provoking. The author presented a clear and bright picture as to the plight as well as the growth of women in the past, present and future. I found myself wanting to take hold of Lilith and Eve's hands and say "THANK YOU!" Thank you Lady Haight Ashton for your inspiring read!

I found this story to be an intriguing and provocative read! It challenges us to examine how history has impacted the way in which think of the first female Lilith and The Sacred Feminine overall. I especially enjoyed reading the author’s ways to honor Lilith through practicing invocations and rituals.

Was excited to order this book and learn about Lilith. However, I found the writing rather boring and not all that informative. Ended up setting the book aside and not finishing it. Unusual for me.
